Integrity for sale, get it before its gone!

To kind of set the flavor of this article, I was going to start off with a real intelligent quote about integrity from a famous person you would all recognize.  So, I went to one of those “smart quotes from famous people” web sites to find one.  Man, there are a lot of very famous people saying some very intelligent statements about "integrity".   I was really taken back.  Who am I to talk on a subject that so many famous politicians, actors, society types from many different fields have taken time out of there busy lives and commented on this subject?

Then, as I read what these very high profile, very much in the News people said, I looked down to read the name of who said it.  Time and time again I was shocked!  These are people that it has been proven in their lives publicly and in court do not have an ounce of integrity.

The only reason I don't give you a list of what they said and, alongside of the statement, public proof of what I am saying is that they do have attorneys.  In other words, they have about as much integrity as a good lawyer can buy them.  This is the civilization we live in.  You put your dollar in the machine, push the button, a can of integrity drops down, rolls out the bottom and you pop the top.  When you’re done no one expects you to dispose of the can properly, because we know all the integrity you had was in that can, and now that's gone!

definition: integrity - (noun) adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty." (Online Dictionary)
